Operation
Christmas Cheer

Connecting the youngest and oldest members of our community through holiday cheer.

How it works.

Since 2022, local youth have been creating and writing holiday cards to be delivered to seniors living in retirement, assisted living, or skilled care communities.

Have your child or student craft a holiday-themed card with a message of their choosing inside. Please have them write the note to "Neighbor" or something similar and sign it with just their first name, first name and grade, or "A Friend."

If your child or student cannot write yet, we have a general holiday message that we stamp inside any tiny tot’s masterpiece.

If you place the card in an envelope, please leave it unsealed and do not place a stamp.

There are three ways to deliver your cards this year:

  1. Place them in a larger envelope and mail to the address listed below.

  2. If you are a classroom or larger group, use the contact information below to arrange for pick-up.

  3. Field trip opportunities are available for students to deliver cards with cookies or a craft. Arrangements must be made using the contact information below before December 2.
